Not really, it just tends to be what I'm told when something bad happens to me.

My neighbor assaulted me!

Shouldn't have been living there.

My wife cheated on me!

Shouldn't have married her.

My boss is stealing from my payroll!

Shouldn't be working there.



In other words...you know the old saying about "your right to swing your fist stops at my nose". If someone is swinging their fist, I have zero obligation to move my head, and I have every right to be pissed off because I have every right to keep my head there even though the fist is coming at it. My head there is not wrong - swinging your fist at my head is. You're doing the wrong thing, you have to stop.

Sarcasm..doesn't always translate in text . I agree with the OP entirely. I won't beat a dead horse about my 'Not me era' philosophy, but everybody does seem to like to blame everything/everybody else for their decisions.
