The way retail/service people are portrayed in commercials

Ah, it's been so long since I've seen an offending commercial that I actually can't remember any; or, perhaps, I've blocked them from my memory. I can't recall anything terrible from the business I work at, and I honestly want the Poseidon-esque painting from a recent Wal-mart commercial. Somehow, it speaks to me...

For example, I'm a librarian. Stereotypically, librarians are old spinster women who like to shush people for making the slightest noise in the library and who have a thick mass of hair that is perpetually put up in a bun. I don't fit that stereotype at all.

Would this be more accurate?
