I currently have a friend, who is a boyfriend of another friend, who annoys the crap out of me by acting like your typical herd-following little sheep, only under the guise of being a hipster, which makes it ok, 'cause they're all counterculture sheeple, instead of pop culture sheeple.
... pardon me while I put my eyes back into their sockets after they fell out from rolling them so hard...
I'm sorry, but all you people who never got over the idea of living your life based on current trends aren't different just because you're anti-pop culture. That just makes you contrary. You're still basing all of your decisions on what the herd has decided is in or out of fashion.
If you like something, then own it. If you don't like something, then own that, too.
But if you're being different for no other reason that to "be different," then you're not any different than any other pop culture sheep. And if that's who you are, then own that.
^-.-^
