So, it's after 3 am on a Sunday morning.
Granted, being a night shifter, it's not out of the ordinary for me to be awake (usually on the weekends I try my hardest to sleep at least for part of the night so I can be awake to do stuff during the day and not be tired, but it's very hard when you sleep so many days in a row for work at night). And it's not out of the ordinary, every hour or two, I step outside for a smoke.
So I light up a smoke and sip on my orange juice I've brought outside with me. Now, picture this. A very busy residential area that's nearly 100% apartments, duplexes, condos, etc. Where I live is five apartment buildings with 8-10 per building, and across the street is one very large building with what I'm guessing would be 30 or more apartments.
Smoking away, enjoying the crisp cold fall night air and whatever stars I can see, and I hear it.
"Uhhhhhhhh.....Aaaahhhhhhhhh.......Ohhhhh......... Mmmmmmmm.....Eeehhh Ahhhh!"
Really?
It sounds a little repetitive, like it could be someone watching porn way too loud. Or with their windows open.
The apartment next to me is empty, the one below me has a girl with a small child and I quit hearing any noises out of them before midnight most nights. She only ever has a babysitter over. The neighbor on the other side is asleep before 11 pm to get up to go fishing/hunting whatever at insane hours of the morning. On the end next to the empty apartment is an older guy whose son (about my age) is squatting with him for the past few weeks. Everyone else in the building is retired and most likely asleep. I have my kitchen windows cracked, I think a few others still do because it's not quite freezing at night yet.
So it might be coming from the end apartment (you'd think with it being that loud, the dad would hear?) or the building next to me. I can't really tell if it's a real girl or a porn, since I noticed it was repetitive same sounds, but SERIOUSLY......in all the years I've lived around here, I've never heard anything like that so loud.
If you're gonna have sex or watch porn, close the windows and try not to be too loud. Otherwise, you'll have an audience. These are quite old, very poorly insulated buildings.
