    Aka, me.

I hate being sick, period. Heck, I just went several months, a few seasons, even, without getting sick. Nothing more than my usual seasonal allergies.

Now I'm just....bleh. I don't know where this came from. But it sucks.

My nose won't stop running. If it does, while I'm sleeping, it dries up and it's nearly impossible to breathe unless I lay on my back practically sitting up. Which is uncomfortable as heck.

I was running kind of hot when I first got up today to call in sick (which I also HATE because it took me long freaking enough to save up 12 hours of personal time!), but a few hours of being up and some OTC pain meds killed that for now.

I don't have any meds at home (well, one dose of Nyquil that I'm saving for bedtime later), and I don't want to leave the house. I look and feel terrible. The boyfriend got me some food so I wouldn't have to cook, but I didn't want him spending money on me so I declined. I kinda wish I'd had him get me Kleenex, because I've just used almost an entire roll of TP, which isn't making the skin around my nose very happy.

I couldn't sleep any more after about 8 pm, because I am used to being awake in the later afternoon and being up all night for work. I take various naps on the weekend at any time, but my body was all ready for week mode, which means sleep all morning and most of the afternoon.

Yeah, it was uncomfortable to be around him, and I warned him he may get whatever I have. It's messy. Lots of wet, painful sneezes, and an orchestra of annoying snot blowing noises while I blow my nose.

Just had to whine. I HATE being sick.

Meds meds meds....OTC meds can really make a difference!

I hate having a snotty nose too though. It's friggin awful. No matter how much you blow it just keeps coming and it's like WTF DID ALL THIS COME FROM!?

I've been congested off and on for the last month, and it's really getting on my nerves. >_<

And since the Bosslady isn't back until later this week, I don't have the choice of not going in.

best thing for this is surprisingly blistex lip ointment, chapped skin is chapped skin, but the blistex has menthol to make it hurt a bit less....

I use Burt's Bees for my lips. The stuff is amazing. I imagine it would be just as amazing for the area around the nose.

After having to deal with sinus issues, migraines, and other bullshit the past 2 weeks...I wouldn't mind having my nose welded shut. It's already like that, so why not?

I hate the bone heads who show up to work with a version of the plague and then not bother covering up when they sneeze/cough.

I understand going to work even while sick. But please, cover your mouth/nose!!!
