  • ....and 7 year olds.

    7 year olds suck because...

    1) EVERYTHING is a debate. Even things like whether or not it's cold out. Snow on the ground, puddles are frozen, see your breath, car won't start. Nope, it's not cold! If it was cold I'd be shivering! Grrrr....

    2) They never listen...yet want your help. Faroohk Jr. Loves playing video games, and I'm all for helping him out, but he's like "How do I get past this part?" And I'm like "WEll you have to push A B A B XY start." And then he's like "Oh....but I like pushing X Y X Y A B start." ....and then "Waaaaaaah, I can't get past this part oh waaaaah it's so hard!"

    3) And we're at the stage where everything his sister has, he wants. She's coloring her dora book? OMG he needs to have the dora book now! Does he even like Dora? Nope, but when GirlFaroohk has the dora book, he MUST HAVE IT NOW!

I don't care that these are normal for a kid. They still suck and I'm still going to bitch.

My almost 16 year old nephew is going through something similar.

He has tried this with me. I merely point out to him that it isnt a debate. I said something/ gave an answer and that is the end of it.

Im certain its different with younger children as Im pretty sure they arent debating for the same reasons as a teenager who hasnt been allowed to use a phone in three months for trying to pierce his own ear...

said stunt resulted in a trip to the hospital for a tetanus shot.

Just because it is normal doesn't mean it isn't annoying. I love Khan more than anything else in the world but he sometimes repeats the same thing 500 times (just a word or phrase, because he likes to say it).

      Khan: "Mouse eating cheese!" >repeat 50 times<

Me: "I know mice eat cheese, I heard you the first 40 times." <-- what I'd like to say.

All ages have different difficulties, even adult children!

Yeah I know...even little Little Faroohkess is slowly phasing out her extreme cuteness in exchange for annoyingness. Whiny, arguing, no listening. Ah well. Fortunately the upside of kids growing up is they get more interesting. Faroohk Jr. is doing good in school and almost at the age where he can start joining different clubs and sports and stuff....which means we have more stuff to talk about than Johnny Test and Spongebob!

People hate me for it, but I don't like kids in general. I don't think anything they do or wear or say is cute. I think they're stinky, loud, high pitched, and annoying.

Yeah, they really are. Honestly they are the worst people alive. Sure, they're just kids and can't help it, but it doesn't make them any less annoying. Imagine an adult acting like some of them. And not metaphorically like "Oh that guy needs to grow up!" I mean all out 7 year old behavior.

My mom tries to turn yes/no questions into a debate...I don't need a detailed explanation about the finances/the fact that your schedule changed which I know thank you, all I asked was if the Target run we had planned on last week was still going

I like kids. I just get bored after too long around them. Babies, on the other hand... STINKYLOUD!
