I actually have made replies on Fratching while out and about. The last time I can recall was while waiting for a table at Red Lobster.

Again, not an actual smartphone but an iPod Touch, but it works great for short replies, somewhat less so for a longer (but simple) post... and terrible if you need multiple, properly-trimmed quotes included.

About broken screens... the glass is a significant weakness. All phones get dropped eventually. A plastic screen would survive a fall, but they get scratched more easily. And the glass *has* to be thin.


I don't know... but I'm going to look at those rubber border things.
