  • "Thanks For Helping Me!"

    Another Facebook snippet.

I woke up a while ago, and one of the more recent status updates was someone I don't really talk to much, but still is pretty active on my list because I steal a lot of funny cat pictures and stuff off of.

They were FB whoring for a ride to get their car. I'm assuming they got drunk last night and left their car downtown.

So, about twenty minutes or so go by, and they then go back and write "Well, thanks for helping me! Now I need to pay for a cab because none of my friends will help me out! Fuck you all!"

Is that really necessary to slam everyone because maybe people haven't seen it yet or aren't around?

Perhaps you could use the phone to get a hold of someone faster? Maybe everyone else is still sleeping or is at work or already going about their day?

Wow. Suck it up and be a grown up already. Part of being responsible is having to go get your car the next day.

    Wow...

What a great way of ensuring that people will jump in to help them the next time they need a favor from someone

Yeah seriously I check my Facebook about twice a day at most to check for messages from friends if I have time I will glance for updates from various people but hell you don't even see every single person's updates as they keep getting bumped for newer updates.

If your using Facebook for something you need RIGHT NOW then your a moron that deserves to walk.

Or just not drinking until you can't drive.

I'd rather a person left their car and got home another way if they drank too much, but suck it up and deal with the fact that tomorrow, you have to go get your car. At least you aren't in jail, right?
