I funnily enough was thinking about an old thread a few days ago but couldn't find it unless it came up in another topic and wasn't based soley on the issue.

IIR s/he complained about always seeing the same names as last posters, being in the UK I am on a different time zone than anyone in America or Australia and New Zeland, so I thought "what I should hold of posting my comments till office hours in Eastern Standard when more Americans might be posting?"
Bugger that, I'm awake at 7am cos I may have a bath at 8 and head off for work at 10, by the time 9am comes around EST I am busy at work and would have to post in the evening before going to bed.

I use the once-a-day subscription thing, so I read and reply to existing topics the first time after about 8:05 pm that I check mail. (7:05 in the winter, which always throws me when the time changes because that one thing doesn't.)

        I say...

No suck. No issue. Manager could have been having a bad day - or is just extremely pedantic!

Pedantic could have been more of an issue. Consider - operating costs are judged on what goes through that register. If everyone did the same thing, and regularly, then we'd be seeing lots of 6-inch subs being made (X amount of time), instead of a stack of 1-foot subs being made. There's a time difference in that preparation, as well as other costs (wrapping). Calculate all of that, and the manager needs to re-consider staffing. (ok, not a hell of a lot, but you get my drift). If the manager is that pedantic, then I can see why you might get hassled a little.

But, again, I reiterate - I don't see an issue with how you described it went down.

Of course, we also need to understand humans... you say one thing, it gets stuck in your mind.. then, when it changes at the last minute, we tend to get a bit upset, or thrown off centre. Humans tend not to like that (although, of course, others work through it faster - the 'adaptable' or 'flexible' ones).
ZOE: Preacher, don't the Bible got some pretty specific things to say about killing?

SHEPHERD BOOK: Quite specific. It is, however, Somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

Ummm - since when was Fratching NOT a place for venting??? I mean, this whole section is devoted to it....
