  • the new batman movie (not hating the movie but that its here)

as the title says i don't hate the movie or what its about but that its out....
and that i cannot gab/discuss/banter/debate about it with my bestest friend who LOVES batman and super man. everyone knew him on cs.com, Plaidy

i know that he would have had something to say about this latest movie, either to critique that it didn't follow the comic book style or raving that the final one is out and how the current actors and actresses portrayed or did not portray...and all that

and that i still feel he wouldn't believe how even after a year some of us are still affected. oh if i could move on and not drag this with me

UPDATE: as this was posted BEFORE the midnight opening and tragedy/chaos of the shooting at the opening in no way did i mean to take away from that sorrow either. I felt horrible and thought Plaid would too...thinking of asking a mod to deactivate this since it seems less important to what happened now

    No man is an island.

We all have a gravity that affects everybody with whom we come in contact and those effects will last long past their initial contact.

I experience the same thing concerning a friend who died of cancer last year. When I saw a trailer for the new movie, I thought, "Oh, Gina would be so excited." She loved movies and books so any time I see a movie trailer or a book I think she would like, I think, "Oh, Gina." It's hard, but as time has passed it's less, "Not fair, why isn't she here to see this?" and more, "This reminds me of a fun time we had together watching another movie/talking about another book."

It just takes time, everyone is different and hopefully eventually your pain will turn to fond memories.

or going back and forth between anger and bargaining. or wherever the heck i'm at i dunno

I'm the same way. Not about Plaid... I barely knew him, not really talking to many people. But I know my old friend Psycho would have loved the movie. We met doing Batman roleplays.

I know how much it hurts.

I thought of Plaid too, when I saw the trailer in theaters.
