this is just a moment of pissedoffedness, due to having to do 90% of the packing myself, and no one wanting to help(I would've hired movers, if I had had time to pack more*), yet when they've moved in the past guess who was right there playing random item tetris, carrying heavy furniture, and schlepping boxes-yup, but can anyone be bothered to return the favor? Nope, not even the person we've helped moved 6 times in the past 8 years, while we've moved once before now. Next time someone asks, the answer is going to be no.


*signed lease and got totes on tuesday, had wednesday and friday off to try and pack a 1000 sq. ft, two bedroom apt), had to work 10 hours thursday, moved heavy furniture saturday, and still packing today while in a tremendous amount of pain from all the lifting.

I couldn't believe how much crap I had to pack up in Afghanistan on my way home. I filled four of these http://www.dragonsupplies.co.uk/u_im...9316642_LG.jpg , two suitcases, and my backpack. I'm a quick packer though and it got done fast.

Moving into new dorm rooms or apartments at school got easier and easier. As I got older, I knew exactly what I needed to bring.

Couldn't imagine having to pack a full apartment or house though. Thank God when I get my own place, I won't have much to move in. I'll be getting my own furniture and stuff so it'll be easy.

I rented 35 of these, I'm down to 12 left to fill......a lot of stuff is getting tossed/donated......
