  • Just Shut the Fuck Up, Already.

This isn't directed at anyone in particular around here... I've just wanted to yell this, *loudly*, at most of the people that seem to be crossing my path lately (in real life and online).

I'm not overly fond of confrontation, so I keep most things to myself lately. Still, to you Unnamed Individuals that insist on finding new ways to grate my cheese lately...

    SHUT THE FUCK UP, ALREADY!!!

Heh, I feel a bit better now.

As you say, this isn't what you mean, but the idea of a discussion board where everyone followed that instruction...

Im with you, there is a guy at work thats like this. Ive very nearly come to hitting him a couple of times because of his mouth. He's lazy, he goofs off, he says incredibly stupid things all the time, cusses at the top of his lungs when customers are in the store.

Its irritating. The worse part is, he doesnt think he ever does anything wrong. All his misfortunes are due to other people screwing him over. He tried telling me he got arrested by the police because he was trying to 'tell his side of the story'. What I think happened, he was not following the officers instructions to leave the property (trespassing). That is how this guy reasons. Nothing is ever his fault.

Wow, do we work at the same place? We have a guy here who basically fits that description to a tee. He drives me up the wall.

              Classic Narcissistic Personality disorder.

Not only must they be the center of everybody's universe, but everything good that happens to them is by their own merits and everything bad that happens to them is because the world hates them and is never their own fault. >_<

My brother is one of these.

Mine too. Everything good, are results of his hard work. Bad stuff...is somehow everyone else's fault, our parents' fault, or other reasons.

For example, he nearly got a very good job with the US Marshals. They were willing to work with him, because he has a heart murmur. Probably very little time "out in the field," but they wanted to take him anyway. Instead of sucking it up and taking the job, he turned it down. Instead, he went into social work. Long hours, shitty pay, and idiots for clients. When I still lived at home, he'd come home and bitch and moan about how he wasn't making enough money, that it "wasn't fair," and on and on. That got worse after I moved out in 2006, and much worse when our younger brother got a teaching job.

Then there's the "condo" he bought earlier in the year. To put it nicely, it's like the 1970s exploded all over it. Not so nicely--it's a shithole that hasn't been maintained. He could have walked away at any point during the sale. Most of the (expensive) problems he's dealing with now...could have negated the sale. But no, he didn't. Instead, he blames my mother for "forcing" him into moving out. Sure, she wanted him out of her house, but I really doubt she put a gun to his head, saying "sign the fucking papers!"

It's at the point that I can't be around him for longer than an hour. Every time that I've been to his place, he whines about how the world's out to get him; our parents (who he hates, BTW) "screwed him over" or other conspiracy theories.

Since I'm the oldest brother, I've tried to be understanding. I've tried to help him out. But, my tolerance is wearing thin. Not so much because of the whining, but because he tries to gain sympathy...and the occasional item from the store. Seriously, open your wallet, you cheap fuck! Oh, and shut the fuck up, you fucking pussy.

Oh god, my sister is one of those. >.< Blames every damn thing on my dad, or me, or mom, or blaahhhgg. Grah.

She nearly lost a ton of financial aid for her schooling because my dad couldn't file his taxes in time for her to turn them in for the "expected parental contribution" thing...now, this may seem like a legit complaint except...

he had already told her to go off grammas taxes. Since she LIVED with gramma. And she just never fucking did, and refused to try to look for a way around the issue, just bitching at everyone within earshot, and being an utter C**t to him whenever he was there.

My dad ain't a saint, he can be a real asshole, but even he doesnt deserve that shit.

And fuck, her grudges against me go back friggan forever.

I'd say it happens multiple times a day in which I'd love to tell someone to shut the fuck up but for some reason it isn't prudent to do so.

I work with a bunch of real whiners on my new shift.

It's just like, if you're going to bitch about every task that gets delegated to you, why are you even fucking here?
