  • "I won't argue with you!"

I really hate when people say "I won't argue with you." If they say something like "I don't have the energy for arguing with you," then that's one thing. But if they insult me, then say not to bother to respond because they're not arguing, I fucking HATE whne people do that.

And then the person responded to tell me how much they won't be responding again.

The nice thing about people who dish out insults and then refuse to be engaged; it's almost guaranteed that you get to have the last word.

And when you don't, it's because they engaged you anyway. Totally a win/win for you.

Very different when it happens in person.

I know how you feel. Arguing physically drains the energy from both my mother and I, however when it gets to the point where she is too tired to argue, she always has the last word. "{Final Point} This is really draining me, I don't want to discuss it." If you try to get another word in about it, she just refuses to discuss it and cuts you off before you can make your point.

I also hate when someone engages you in an argument, but if you don't want to participate they egg you into it. Then once you are riled up, they claim to not want to argue anymore.
