Personally I'm a Steeler's fan, but where I live at I get stuck with a study diet of Browns and Lion's games..

I would happily make the Steelers my backup team the second they get rid of their rape-y quarterback.

Doesn't help with football but at least someone is starting to do something.

MLB is being sued because of how unfair it is to people wanting to see their team if they don't live local to the team. The MLB has made it a monopoly on letting people watch games and charge ridiculous prices to do so.

Yeah, that's kind of my biggest problem.

Also beating me in the Superbowl, but again, Arizona. EVERYBODY beats me.

If only I got to actually watch Packer games on Sunday. That's one thing I didn't bear in mind when I switched shifts.

Thankfully, due to some of the hour cuts, I got to see the Packer Viqueen game a couple of weeks ago, and I get to see the later evening games.

If you have Direct TV, you can get the NFL package that let's you get all of the games but if I remember, it is expensive. In this day and age of on demand these sorts of monopolies are rapidly getting outdated.

Don't have it, and couldn't get it if I wanted to (apartment, lease forbids satellites). If they would all just go to some kind of online streaming, that would solve the problems.

It's my understanding that in the U.S., federal regulations state that lower-level (state, city, HOA, or landlord) rules against having a satellite dish are null and void. While they can impose reasonable restrictions (can't drill mounting holes in the outside of the building, have to be in a location you have exclusive access to, such as your balcony, etc.), they can't do an outright ban. What this means is, if you can "see the bird" from your balcony, it's OK to use a clamp-on antenna mount (the FCC regulations basically tell your landlord to pound sand), but if you can't "see the bird" from your balcony (needs to be mounted higher to clear a neighbouring building, you're on the side of the building facing away from the satellite, etc.), you're SOL.

My old apartment wouldn't allow antennas after they re-did the roofs. But one guy on the ground level had a full-size stand-up dish outside his front door.
