I'm a pacifist, and I was disgusted to see that the US chose to invade Iraq, but even I have to admit that Afghanistan is a justified war. And I'm proud that Canadians are helping in that endeavor.

It's just that, when it happens to the US, they've got the resources to hit back. Remember how much the rest of the world screamed at Russia when it's states started using terror tactics, and they invaded? (yes, I'm ignoring the previous 100 years or so here, deliberately).
(oh, that could possibly be read as sarcasm, it's not, it's to say you're doing it for the 'right' reasons, even if I don't agree with the basis for those reasons)
