(I tend to feel about cars sort of analogous to people: it's not their fault they get old and sick and develop health problems, and I don't hate them for not doing as much work as before. I hate being stranded on the side of the road, and I hate that things and people wear out... or, as things currently are, I feel blessed for having almost unnaturally reliable transportation.
