Yeah that was the one, if s/he said upfront that this happened whenever and he was going to be splitting it up into separate posts to save a giant wall of text, then if anyone took it to be "I thought this just happened" then it's not the OP's fault if no one reads the "This happened 4 years ago, but I've only found this site and want to share."

But he had a low post count, so I think he either left with his tale between his legs cos he was found out to be bull shitting, or the back lash he got would have all of his future tales to be super scrutinised.

I just read through that whole thread. I think people who post stuff like that figure nobody is really paying that much attention to every little detail ... are they?

Ree was right -- if he'd stuck with the original story he probably could've carried it off, but when he started piling on way too many additional details and coincidences, it just fell apart like a house of cards.
