yes i'm giving a big old HATE to SNL.

I went to youtube to see if they had any clips from the Hugh Laurie episode...No, they were pulled due to copywrite.

OK, I'll accept that... maybe iTunes will have it... and sweeet.. they did. So I bought the episode and watched it.

    Well Hugh Laurie was funny.

um... that's it. Hugh was funny.
Everything else was pretty much stupid.

Maybe that explains why I can't find any YouTube videos from that old skit "The Joe Pesci Show" (Jim Breuer) which used to have me roflmao.

I got all of BlackAdder from eMule... not that telling you this will help a lot
ZOE: Preacher, don't the Bible got some pretty specific things to say about killing?

SHEPHERD BOOK: Quite specific. It is, however, Somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

Ah...SNL. The show that hasn't been funny for years. Tell me again why it's still on?

Oh, it has its moments. The Tina Fey/Palin bits were pretty funny.

Yes, every so many years, Lorne assembles a great group of comedians and writers. But then the lure of big money from movies or other tv shows beckons, and one by one, they leave and are replaced by the hopelessly unfunny.

Have y'all tried Hulu? They don't have every SNL clip, but they still have some of my favorites such as Chris Farley in the "van down by the river" sketches!

I'm fully convinced it's only still on because it's been on for so long NBC doesn't dare cancel it.

Besides, then their lazy asses would have to think of a show to replace it with, and we can't be forced to do anything that requires thought.

because the liberal media gives them money to push their opinions while calling it comedy.

hell even some of the old SNL actors have admitted it's just a political platform.

dang it...and i just realized i was at Borders and DIDN'T check to see if they had Blackadder in stock! sigh.
well at least i downloaded Mr Bean ... it did wonders to cleanse my mind after watching snl

Well, Lorne Michaels got his TV start as a writer for 'Laugh-In', an extremely political comedy show.

It's still on the air because it draws more viewers than a "Friends" re-run would in that time slot.

The cost of producing the show is x, the amount it makes in ad revenue is y, and y is greater than x. I don't see a conspiracy here.
