That's exactly why I do it here and not at CS. I have a feeling the majority of people at CS don't go on fratching. Just a few of us.
There are few of us, but we're constantly referring people to Fratching. I'd hate for them to get here and find out their choice of thread titles is being made fun of.
A few examples were fine, but I think we've probably got plenty now. Let's get back to discussing generalities.
The bigger deal you make of it, the more people are going to want to do it.
Bingo. We can has passive-aggression. *personally enjoys the cheezburgr titlings*

Actually Greenday, I noticed a real increase in threads like that after you made this thread.
Me too. I think there's been a new one every other day or so!
As for the people whose thread titles are being made fun of, they're welcome to come over here and defend their choices! We were just expressing our annoyance with the titles and their frequency, but I can now see that perhaps some people will take it personal.
Getting more general: It's annoying because I assumed "I can has" meant the same thing as "I want" so it sounds kinda dumb in my opinion to say "I want a truck wreck" or "I want a sunburn."
Maybe they could say "I can has auto insurance" or "I can has aloe vera gel"
I was tempted to start a thread on CS about I can haz shin splints, but I couldn't force myself to torture myself.
Violence has resolved more conflicts than anything else. The contrary opinion that violence doesn't solve anything is merely wishful thinking at its worst. - Starship Troopers
