You know what, fuck the school. I got a D in one of my courses. Not proud of it, but it is what it is and considering I've been doing fine in my other courses, I didn't see it as that big of a deal. But noooooo. The school puts me on academic probation, telling me I have to see one of their dumbass advisors by Friday or they'll put my registration on hold.
The thing is, the advisors there are full of shit. At best, they're unhelpful, but at worst, they give you absolute moronic advice. The last one I saw told me I should change my major to math even though I flunked out of calculus (only class I ever flunked) and was closer to finishing a business degree. They also pressure you to take these workshops that I have no interest in taking.
This may not seem like a big deal, but I resent the way they're treating me over this. They charge you up the ass, but are still able to find other things to hold over your head. If I were the more confrontational type, I'd be tempted to call up the heads and tell them what assholes they are, but I'm not, so that's probably a good thing.
