and the fuckers either a) never get back to me or b) get back to me at the last minute. It's so frustrating. I'd call, but then I'd have to be put through the automated crap (most of this is job or school related).

This is really getting frustrating. Waiting weeks for a response is becoming the bane of my existence. The worst case of this was when I applied for hours at my job 2 weeks in advance (it's on call). I didn't hear back from them so I assumed the position was filled... until the morning before when they called me to work... that afternoon...
It's also annoying when you have a group project in an online class. Waiting a fucking week from my team for a reply on what topic we're going to pick. (on a side note, why can't people just decide who does what in advance instead of having everyone scramble around at the last minute?). And I better get a response back on how to submit the final online or I'm just going to have to email it to the professor.
