*Think I've griped about this before on here, but it's come to mind again as I've been looking through e-mails and planning out Christmas shopping*
I do realize that the point of "In-store only" coupons is to get the customers to come to the physical store rather than shopping online, but just to give a few examples of why it irks me when stores do this:
- I'm not sure how it was in other areas, but when Borders Books & Music started going under, most of the stores in Phoenix closed. And if I remember correctly, the company started e-mailing out more "in-store only" coupons around this time.
- I'm on the email list for Harry & David's because there used to be a store in the mail I worked at. That was the only Arizona location, and when it closed, "in-store only" coupons were useless for customers like myself. (since then, a few other locations have opened up, but none near me)
