Yeah I thought it smelled a little off, there is no way whatsoever that the DM would tell him this, also the manager would either do all or nothing not 50% and on top of that the person at the store would be rather unlikely to go against her boss like that.

Why would a District Manager give a random customer that much of his company's financial information?
Either the customer has met the World's Least Professional DM, or he's lying about that part of the story.
It makes everything else in the story harder to believe, even if it is in part truthful.
Surely you aren't suggesting that no one exaggerates without outright lying?
Originally posted by Rageaholic View PostThe manager sounded like a dick, but did he really go through that much trouble just to return a frickin' sandwhich? It wasn't even the wrong order for crying out loud.
Originally posted by Andara Bledin View PostI've gone through a similar amount of trouble for a similar issue. It was the principle. They owed me the right food, and I was going to get the right food.
My guess is that there is a kernel of truth in there somewhere, and the rest is pure embellishment for the sake of the story.

At any rate, in this case, I was entirely right to call the author a liar:
The entire OP turned out to be complete fiction that was created by a banned poster in an attempt to incite or be funny or...who know- just to troll. So the thread has been deleted.
