A black Tenn. Red Lobster server received a nice little message on a CC receipt after 2 women did a $40 lunch

And here I thought this was the 21st century. (note sarcasm) There is debate on whether this is real or not.

Some are questioning the authenticity of the receipt. The fact that the initial Ns are not the same does seem a bit suspicious.

However, when taken with the fact that the couple was seated, then ordered their meal to go instead of eating there does tend to support the idea that there was definitely something else going on.

I've been known to switch from print to cursive with in a single word, so I can't say much on the different styles of writing. I'm really not surprised that this would happen. My father was known to pull shit like this.

I'm thinking bullshit. Receipt "scandals" have become way too well known, particularly with online vigilantes tracking down the customers, for anything this foolish. And the documented slur? Either the most deliberately oblivious duo ever, or someone wants to be famous.

It is worth noting that she took the receipt to her manager first thing. I find that to fall on the side of supporting its authenticity.
