My office has a side room where there is a giant ass TV to watch or play video games. I mailed out my 360 before I came back and just got it a few days ago. Last night was the first night I used it. Around 5:15, after I hooked it up, started it up, and JUST started my first game (I was playing MLB 2K9) and was in the first inning, someone from the office walked in and said this was the time he always comes in to play. That's nice, I've never seen him at that time before since I normally work past 9pm and I beat him there that night. He asked how long I would be and I told him I didn't know since this was the first time I've played the game so I don't know how long a game normally lasts. I told him if he gave me a specific time, I'd make sure I would be off for him. He mumbled to himself and walked out, slamming the door shut on the way out.
Tonight I was playing again, though I waited later just in case Mr. Grumpy wanted to play. One of the sergeants came in and was looking at movies when he decided to give me a talking to about how long I played last night. Apparently he noticed Mr. Grumpy storming out and muttering to himself about me playing my game.
I was on there for about three hours. Long? Yes. Had anyone, after my first game, asked to play, I would have quit in a heartbeat. But no one did. Some people occasionally stopped to watch me but that was it. Mr. Grumpy didn't come back at all. Don't go whining like a little child that you want your turn on the TV, especially when you are probably in your 30s. I can't stand grown adults who continue to act like children and pretend they are special. You aren't special, I'm not giving up the TV after being on it for not even five minutes, take a chill pill.
